FotoWeek DC Event at VisArts Center
During this week-long celebration of photography in the nation’s capital, events will be organized to attract those who make a living practicing the art, science, business, education, and craft of photography as well as amateur photographers and the simply curious. FotoWeek DC will offer the entire Washington, D.C., community the opportunity to come together to focus on photography’s place in our world, to explore new ideas about the future of photography, and to experience photography’s many forms and enriching power.

DESCRIPTION: | Internationally known photographer Bruce Barnbaum (www.barnbaum.com) will have participants view and discuss photography both from a technical and creative point of view. The workshop will include work indoors and outdoors, in the darkrooms and in the classroom to enhance seeing, technique, understanding, and creativity to better express you photographically. This is a rare opportunity for photographers on the East Coast to work with Bruce for a week without traveling a long distance. |
