Program for Charter Meeting February 21, 2008

VisArts Center will host for the group at 7:30 p.m. and provide wine, cheese, and other nibbles. John Hoover, Director of Photography will open the gallery for the group to see their inaugural juried photography exhibit followed by a tour of the darkrooms and studio.

As of this morning we have 15-25 large format and/or alternative process photographers planning to attend from Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, and Pennsylvania. We would like to focus on introductions, what processes and formats are being used, and what the group would like to see at subsequent meetings. VisArts will continue to offer it's facility to the group and we see excellent opportunities for bringing in artists for workshops, demonstrations amongst the group members, sharing work, solving technical issues, ect. Please bring your ideas to the meeting.

Please note that VisArts address is on a new street and is not on most maps or on map quest/google maps. Go the the link in the sidebar on the left for accurate directions and a map. There is ample parking on the street and a vacant lot across Beale Avenue.
